POS - Instore + Online Logics: 3/7/2025​

To maintain data quality, a filter has been applied to the POS - Instore and Online data, any receipts with a total value of >$2,500 have been removed from the platform.

This filter removes less than 0.1% of the receipts for both the instore and online data.

We recognize this filter will remove some accurate spend (e.g. someone purchasing a Samsung TV at Best Buy or a washer/dryer at Home Depot). In future iterations we plan to launch a filter that will add back in those transactions, in the meantime we’d recommend caution against using this data to analyze high-priced items.

Logic Updates: Week Ending 3/7/2025​

  • Any receipts/transactions with a total value more than $2500 have been removed from POS Instore and POS Online data

Impact​

  • The filter will remove some accurate spend, in future iterations we will add back those transcations
  • Users will may see an overall reduction in volume mainly in online transactions on certain entities
