Workspace Overview

Context

The Workspace is where users save, organize, and analyze insights using Workbooks and Canvases. It enables collaborative analytics, custom visualization, and applied functions—all within a structured environment designed for insight iteration and reuse.

Workbooks act as containers for insights. Each insight added creates a new canvas—a dynamic visualization tile where users can apply tools, functions, and compare data over time.

Workspaces support:

  • Team collaboration
  • Time-series analysis
  • Function layering (e.g., YoY, panel debias)
  • Export and sharing

Key Components

Workbooks

  • Group insights by topic, initiative, or workflow
  • Saved in your Workspace for persistent access
  • Support rename, delete, share, copy, and PDF export

Canvases

  • Each insight creates its own canvas by default
  • Visual interface to manipulate time-series data
  • Canvas names can be edited and moved between workbooks
  • Actions: duplicate, hide, delete, or transform insights

Insights

  • Represent metrics such as card spend, visits, or registrations
  • Can be filtered before being added to a workbook
  • Support chart-level tools and data functions

  • Workbooks: Full list of your saved books
  • Cohorts: Predefined segments to apply filters (e.g., geography, brand groupings)
  • Tools: Modify chart type or Y-axis
  • Functions: Apply statistical or comparative transformations

Collaboration Features

  • Share workbooks with team members
  • Copy insights or canvases across workbooks
  • Download as PDF for offline reporting

Expected Outcome

Workspace enables structured analysis and team collaboration by combining insights into saved, visual, and functional workbooks.
