Analyze with Workspace
The Workspace enables users to organize, manipulate, and analyze insights within saved workbooks. It supports structured analysis and collaboration across teams by allowing functions, formatting, and export of visualized insights.
Workbooks group saved insights into canvases for visualization and function application. Users can iterate, transform, and export insights—supporting custom workflows across analytical teams.
Step-by-Step Execution
1. Creating a Workbook
- After building an insight, select Add to Workbook
- Choose an existing workbook or create a new one
- Alternatively, create a new workbook in Workspace using the (+) next to Workbooks
- Enter a workbook description
- Use Build Insight to explore and add new insights
2. Analyzing Saved Insights
Navigation
- Workbooks contain a table of contents organized by canvas
- Select a canvas from the sidebar to view its insights
- Click an insight to jump to its section
- Selecting an insight opens the Tools and Functions sidebar
Tools
- Adjust chart type and Y-axis for visualization
Functions
- Apply transformations such as:
- Panel Debias
- Year over Year Growth
- Functions are insight-dependent and applied from the canvas
Additional Options
- Delete Insight: Use the X icon to remove an insight
- Permanently deleted if not used elsewhere
- Hide Insight: Click from the legend to toggle visibility on the graph
3. Managing Your Workbooks
- Rename: Click the name or the ellipsis (⋯) to edit
- Delete: Select Delete from the ellipsis menu
- Share: Use the share icon to invite collaborators
- Copy: Duplicate an existing workbook
- Download: Export workbook as a PDF
- Blank Canvas: Add a canvas for combining insights or applying functions
- Move: Use the Move icon to transfer canvases between workbooks
4. Managing Canvases
- A canvas represents a time series graph tied to an insight
- Each new insight creates a new canvas by default
- Canvas name defaults to the first Entity or Insight selected
- Click the canvas name to rename
Canvas Actions
- New Canvas: Select New Blank Canvas
- Use the + icon to add insights from the same workbook
- Copy: Duplicate a canvas and its contents
